Information Tech. Personnel Trainee:

Responsibilities:

·         Provide technical support to telephone and email requests from users for all PC hardware, software and associated peripherals.

·         Log support calls and document their outcome to facilitate the resolution of common queries.

·         Redirect or escalate support requests to the appropriate member of the IT Support Centre.

·         Pro-actively provide information to users on the progress of outstanding support calls.

·         Contribute to ensuring that the Branch systems and software are kept up to date and messages are passed on and feedback received promptly.

·         Deploy PCs and associated peripherals including new installations and the redeployment of existing equipment.

·         Install and configure operating systems to agreed standards under the direction of the Team Lead.

·         Maintain the existing PCs and peripherals to standards determined by the Client, by performing upgrades, new installations and carrying out routine procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Minimum of a HND in any related Discipline

·         Must have completed the one year National youth service scheme.

·         Entry level in career

·         Must have good communication skills.

·         Must be able to work in a team.

·         Must be energetic and self-motivated

·         Age: 22-29 years

Med. Lab Technician:

Job Overview:

The potential candidate (Laboratory scientist) will be responsible for performing cultures, matching blood products for transfusions and analyzing the content of body fluids / tissue samples to detect microorganisms such as viruses or bacteria. Also will be able to analyze chemical contents of samples to determine levels of cholesterol in patients, pinpoint anthrax and other harmful substances, or determine if blood and body fluid cells are irregular or if a tumor is malignant. They additionally choose and determine the best laboratory testing procedures and equipment such as cell counters, microscopes and automated equipment--and ensure their testing is of high quality.

Candidate must be able to:

·         Identifying abnormal blood cells

·         Identifying toxic agents, such as anthrax

·         Detecting a cancerous tumor with DNA techniques

·         Performing cultures and identifying bacteria and viruses

·         Assuring safe transfusion of blood products

·         Correlating test results with patient condition

·         Selecting and evaluating laboratory equipment and new test methodologies

·         Monitoring the quality of testing

·         Supervising support staff

·         Managing laboratory operations
