EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Many Languages Worldwide are threatened by extinction. In Nigeria Indigenous Language are “endangered species” and the prognosis is that of the 250 Indigenous Languages in existence very few will survive the 21st century. It is a sad thing when a languages dies; a whole way of life passes on. To arrest this situation in Nigeria, an Indigenous Languages School is being formed to research, develop, teach and promote indigenous languages. Initially, the focus shall be on Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Ijaw and Urhobo. Also is surrounded on all sides by French Speaking Countries
The Language School is seeking to engage the services of a CONSULTANT to prepare a feasibility study.
REQUIREMENTS:
Interested Consultants should be people of integrity with proven track record of over 10 years of piratical experience. Teaching experience in the languages faculty of a recognized tertiary institution as well as experience in long distance tuition would be an added advantage.
