HEAD OF PEOPLE AND ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT – NIGERIA
Please note this role is based in Abuja, Nigeria
You will bring strategic leadership towards achieving the Human Resource management and Organizational Effectiveness objectives of Water Aid in Nigeria and ensure effective functioning implementation of the Country Program mes administrative processes. You will balance technical expertise with ability to motivate and mentor your team and support our implementing partners. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will contribute to setting the direction and professional standards of this international development agency.
As a member of the Regional Management Team, you will contribute to strategic decision making and work with other HR leads in the region on people issues
The requirement for this position include a four-year degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences or other relevant field from a recognized university and a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, or Business Administration. The position holder must also possess a minimum of 10 years working experience, of which at least 5 must be in Senior HR / OD function. Additional requirement include experience of organizational development support to local development partners. Ability to speak French is an added advantage.
